Noxious Substances Being Emitted in Your Vicinity

After obtaining documents through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), it has come to our attention that the facility located on 5000 River Road, Marrero, Louisiana has released noxious and harmful substances from January 2012, to date. Due to frequent and preventable breakdowns, the facility illegally emitted thousands of pounds of harmful air pollutants that can cause: headaches, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, skin and eye irritation, and pulmonary irritation. The company violated its permit limit for the emission of Hydrochloric Acid (HCL), Nitrogen Oxide/Dioxide (NOx), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S).
