Background

Jarrett S. Falcon was born and raised on the Westbank of New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating from Archbishop Shaw High School he went to Louisiana State University where he received his B.A. in Political Science. While at L.S.U. he worked for a criminal defense firm in Baton Rouge. Following L.S.U. he attended Loyola University Law School and earned his juris doctor degree with a focus in civil law.

Success in the Court Room

Jarrett is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts, as well as, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is admitted pro hac vice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, and the United States 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. His areas of practice include maritime, personal injury, toxic exposure, and general civil litigation. Jarrett has secured significant victories in trial courts and appellate courts that provided substantial compensation for his clients and protected the rights of Louisiana citizens.

In the Community

While still in college, Jarrett co-founded GNO Youth Coalition, a small non-profit that organized fund-raising efforts for underprivileged and at-risk youth in the Greater New Orleans area. He currently works with youth in the juvenile justice system, using rugby to help facilitate change in their lives. Jarrett also served as Chairman of the Board for the Jefferson Council on Aging (JCOA) Board of Trustees. JCOA runs all of the senior services in Jefferson Parish, including meals on wheels, home healthcare, and many more. Jarrett lives in Marrero with his wife and three children. In his free time, he plays rugby, hunts, fishes, and spends time with his family.
